Kakaban Island
Kakaban Island located in Derawan Islands, Berau, East Kalimantan.
Kakaban attract foreign tourists with a unique, one of the lakes on the island of Lake Kakaban. Which the lake is filled by a mixture of rain water and seepage water from soil pores and create a different habitat endemic in most other regions of the world's lakes, except Lake Kakaban no one else with the brackish water lake that is in the Palau Islands, Micronesia.
Lake Kakaban, is sea water trapped in Kakaban, plus the water from the soil and rain water from 2 million years ago. Lake Kakaban a prehistoric lake that is Holosin transitional period. The extent of approximately 5 km ², the cliff walls as high as 50 meters, which resulted in sea water is trapped no longer get out, into the lake. Administratively, Lake Kakaban including Berau Regency, East Kalimantan.
Jellyfish in Kakaban Island are not too sting like the other jellyfish

it's a unique name, kakaban, hard for me to spelling it, i have been learn indonesian language for 2 years, but i remember a little, like how are you in indonesian language is apa kabar right? i'm was born in vegas but i have been live in indonesia 3 years i love the culture, food, the tourism place and all, i want back to indonesia
