Sebatik Island - The Excitable Place

Sebatik Island is an island in the north-east of Borneo. The island is administratively divided into two parts . Northern portion is a region of Sabah, Malaysia and the southern part of Indonesian territory that is part of the province of East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Sebatik is one place where a great battle between the forces of Indonesia and Malaysia during the "Confrontation".To the west of this island is the island of Nunukan, while across the north there Tawau City, which was already in the state of Sabah, Malaysia.



But now , there was not any confrontation there. Sebatik is a peaceful place. To go there you can go by boat, From Samarinda it will eat 2 hour .
