Tourism Objects in Maluku

Here are some tourism objects in one of the islands located in East Indonesia, Maluku. When you visited Maluku you may come to this places that we recommended. enjoy!
   
1. VICTORIA FORT



Victoria fort is a historical site located right in the center of the city of Ambon. The fort was built by the Portuguese in 1775 and subsequently taken over by the Dutch. Then the Dutch used this fort as a center of colonial government to dredge the Moluccas wealth in the form of spices.
In front of the castle there is the port that is used as a point inter-island sea transport. Through this port Dutch ships carrying the spices to be distributed to several countries in continental Europe. In the castle there is also a market on which to bring together a community of indigenous traders. The fort was also used as a defense of the various attacks indigenous people who resisted. Victoria fort is also the place where Pattimura, Indonesia's national hero, was hanged on December 6, 1817.


2. BANDA SEA 


The location of Banda marine park is located between Neira Island, Gunung Api Island, Ai Island, Sjahrir Island and Hatta Island. Precisely located in Central Maluku district, Maluku Province. To get to the location can be reached by passenger ferry from the city of Ambon during the night.

You can do anything in this marine tourism, such as diving, fishing, sea view from the park boat, and the event is not less interesting is another bucket uli event that can be witnessed every year two times that in March and April in early evening in 15 days (heaven) at 17:00 until 20:00 CET. Uli bucket is "ocean party" Banda community to catch a kind of sea animals sea green caterpillar long (like yarn) and hairy. 3. NATSEPA BEACH



This beach sloping, wide and very well known since the first, with fine white sand. No wonder the heart calming beach scene and delicious to the eyes. Especially when you have a long journey, the scenery beautiful beach provides calm and breezy winds that blow giving freshness. One of the nice vacation spot for you and your family. Natsepa beach can be a place to eliminate saturated after we worked too long in the city and relax yourself.
Ambon own people say, not to Ambon if not swimming in Natsepa. So do not miss this opportunity, when you visit to Ambon, not to not set foot on the beach and soak Natsepa.


4. CAKALELE TRADITIONAL DANCE SHOW



Cakalele dance is one of the traditional dances of Maluku that is still often presented and played by about 30 men and women. 


The male dancers wore dominated by war red and dark yellow. In the dancer's hands holding a sword weapon (machete) on the right side and the shield (salawaku) on the left side, wearing a hat made of aluminum inserted white feather. Meanwhile, female dancers dressed in white, while holding a handkerchief (lenso) in both hands. The dancers are paired Cakalele, dancing to the accompaniment of drum music (drums), flutes, and large clams (bia) is blown.
The specialty of this dance lies in the three function symbols. (1) red dress in costume male dancers, symbolizing a sense of heroism to the earth the Maluku, and the courage and patriotism of the Maluku in the face of war. (2) The sword in the right hand symbolizes the pride that people of Maluku have retained until the death. (3) shield (salawaku) and shout out loud booming on the dance interlude symbolized protest movement against the system of government that are considered unbiased to the public.

Five Biggest Temple in Indonesia

Borobudur Temple 



Borobudur temple is located in Magelang, Central Java, about 40 km from Yogyakarta. Borobudur Temple has 10 levels consisting of 6 levels of a square, circular level 3 circular and a main stupa as a peak. At every level there are several stupas. Altogether there are 72 domes in addition to the main stupa. In every stupa there is a statue of Buddha. Ten levels of Buddhist philosophy which describes the ten levels of Bodhisattva which must pass to reach the perfection of the Buddha in nirvana. This perfection symbolized by the main stupa at the top level. Borobudur structure when viewed from above form a mandala structure depicting Buddhist cosmology and the human thinking.

Prambanan Temple


Prambanan temple is incredibly beautiful building built in the 10th century during the reigns of two kings, and Rakai Rakai Pikatan Balitung. Rose as high as 47 feet (5 meters higher than Borobudur temple), the establishment of this temple has fulfilled the desire maker, shows the triumph of Hinduism in Java. This temple is located 17 kilometers from the city center, in the middle of the area that is now a beautiful park. There is a legend that Javanese people always tell about this temple. Once, a man named Bandung Bondowoso loved Roro Jonggrang. Because no love, Jonggrang asked Bondowoso make 1000 temples with statues in one night. Mendut Temple 


Mendut temple is a Buddhist background. This temple is located in the village Mendut Mungkid district, Magelang regency, Central Java, a few kilometers from Borobudur temple. Mendut founded during the reign of King Indra Sailendra dynasty. In the inscription of bertarikh Karangtengah 824 AD, mentioned that the king Indra has built shrine called veluvana which means bamboo forests. By a Dutch archaeologist named J.G. de Casparis, these words related to Mendut. Actual temple building materials are brick covered with natural stone. The building is located on a high basement, which looks more elegant and sturdy. Climbed the stairs and the entrance facing southwest. Muaro Jambi Temple


Size Muaro Jambi temple site of 12 square kilometers, an area of Buddhist worship in the days of Srivijaya kingdom. Muaro enshrinement site is located in the village of Jambi Jambi Muaro, District Muaro Sebo, Muara Jambi. The distance from the capital of Jambi province around 40 kilometers. The complex is not far from the Batang Hari river basin. To get there, could take or use land routes through river speedboat. First discovered by British soldiers named SC Crooke in 1820, when he was assigned to map the Batanghari River. Temple Muaro Jambi chose the 80-temple, the nine major temples. Candi Sewu 


Sewu Temple is located in the hamlet of Bener, Bugisan village, district of Prambanan, Klaten regency, Central Java province. In the past this temple was in the middle of residential population dense enough. Now some have been cleared for the location of Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan Prambanan Unit. Thus Sewu Temple is now located in Unit Park neighborhood of Prambanan, precisely north of Prambanan Temple. This temple is located about eighteen miles east of the city of Yogyakarta. In 1960, the temple complex has been found Sewu inscription dated 714 C or 792 F, whose contents include mention of the holy building improvements called Manjus'rigra. Based on these inscriptions, allegedly the original name is Sewu Temple which means house Manjus'rigra Manjusri, Boddhisatawa That is one of the Buddhist religion. About the year until the new building is currently not known for certain, but certainly before the year 792 AD is known as the year the building improvements.
